Operation Write Home Sketch Challenge #245

It's been a long time since I participated in a sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home.
I forgot how much I liked using a sketch as design inspiration.

Here's my card for OWH Sketch Challenge #245

and here is  sketch #245

This is the first time I've used my new, large, flower  punch that I bought at my local Hobby Lobby when they had their brand at half price. All of the flowers on this card were punched with that punch.

The papers used were all from a Hampton Art paper pad "Berry Blast".

I used a scrap of left over Kraft paper for the tag and the ribbon on it was a snippet left over  from a mini album.  The playground over at Pixie's Snippets Playground  is open for an extended amount for the holidays so I'm going to play there for a second time this week.

Have a great day!

  1. This is beautiful with those pretty flowers and great embossed background! Nice job with the sketch!

  2. Lovely card Kathy! And such a good take on the sketch - I'd have run away rather than attempet to follow that sketch - you did it brilliantly!

    Happy New Year!
