Even though I haven't shared a blog post for the past few weeks I really have been busy.
It's time to finish some of those UFO's. UFO's are Un-Finished Objects and I have many of them.
Here is a little "Butterfly" mini-album that I started last winter and completed this past month.
Click on the photos to make it Larger.
I love butterflies and I bought this paper pad in both the 12x12 inch size and the 4 1/2 x 6 inch also. All of the pages in this book use papers from the smaller paper pad.
All of the cardboard used for this book and most all of the albums that I make are from cereal boxes.
I used "Laura Dennison's" Stack The Deck binding method for this little mini.
Here are some of the pages from my album.
This is the first page in the book and the tag that fits into the side pocket.
The ribbon used on the tags is rayon seam binding. It"s wonderful stuff, and can be dyed to match your project.
There are twelve pages in the book. Each one used a fussy cut large butterfly from the paper pad to embellish the pocket flap.
That's it for today.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you'll come back again soon and please leave me a comment to let me know if you liked my mini album.
Ta Ta For Now.

Oh my...this is just so lovely and a real labour of love, worth every minute it took! Simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog, Kathy. :) We did manage to have our spa day, and it was wonderful! Love your butterfly album. Fussy-cutting all of those butterflies was a lot of work, but so worth it. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, as always. Just love to see the next thing you make.
