Have You Tried "Bokeh"

Making your own watercolor or inked backgrounds seems to be the newest trend in card making. My new favorite is the Bokeh technique .

I found this definition of Bokeh." In photography, Bokeh has been defined as the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light".

White card stock  was used for the card base.

Three colors of Distress Ink, Broken China, Wild Honey and Peeled Paint were used.

I lightly inked large areas of the card base using paint daubers.

When the ink was dry, I used a circle stencil, which had many sizes of circles on it. I placed that over the inked background and then daubed  white ink in the circles.

I stamped "wheat" on this background using a Sage Green ink.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of "Bokeh".

I hope you have a great day.
Ta Ta For Now.
