A Butterfly-Hello Card

The deadline for entering cards in the Memory Box Butterfly Challenge #1 is fast approaching and  this  "Butterfly-Hello" card  is just going to fly in under the wire to qualify for the challenge.

This card used one of my last pieces of gelato  painted  background papers .
I cut out the Memory Box "hello" die from black card stock and the background paper and layered them to look like the hello was shadowed.
The last piece of ribbon from  my Mother's Day gift was also used on this card.

I am entering this in the Memory Box Butterfly Challenge #1

Have a great day
Ta Ta For Now,
Kathy

  6. That background is gorgeous. The butterfly in black really pops against the background. And what a great idea for the hello. Way to recycle your ribbon. Don't ya just love it when you get a cool ribbon on a gift that you can reuse on a project. It's like getting an extra gift.

  8. I've been resisting buying brushos because I have a whole slew of Copics, but this card just might persuade me to re-think the whole process! I LOVE the colors of this beautiful background, and the black butterfly looks perfect on top!
