Red, White & Blue Midweek Challenge

Two blog posts in one day!

The Stars & Stamps Blog is having their weekly Midweek Throwdown Challenge. This week it's  a color challenge and the colors to use on a card are red, white, blue and kraft.

This is my card, which is going to be used as an  "Any Hero Card". Inside the card  I'll write a note of thanks to a soldier for their service. It will be included in the box with my next cards being sent to Operation Write Home.

Have a happy and safe 4th of July. We're on our way to the lake for a day in the sun, a potluck picnic and fireworks.

    I really like the banner you created with your scallops. the embossing and stars are just ideal for an Any Hero card. Nice job with this challenge.

    The way you incorporated two different embossing texture on the kraft background is great and the scallops in red, white and blue are fun and festive. Hope you have a great 4th of July!

    Kathy, Love the red, white and blue banner. Great idea to use two different embossing textures. Who makes the star ef?
